Rainwater provides educational product surfaces, membership billing, account onboarding, and brokerage-linking workflows for copy-trading infrastructure. We collect only the information needed to operate the product, maintain support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or platform obligations.

By visiting the site, creating an account, purchasing a plan, or connecting a brokerage, you agree that we may process your information as described here.

We may collect contact and account details such as your email address, Discord-linked identity, username, subscription status, and basic profile information when you sign in or interact with the product.

We may collect billing information through Stripe, including plan selection, subscription status, customer identifiers, and payment event metadata. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

We may collect brokerage connection metadata through SnapTrade and supported brokerage integrations, including linked institution identifiers, account connection status, and related integration tokens or references needed to complete authorized account actions.

We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URLs, and basic product activity logs needed for debugging, security, and reliability.

We use information to operate the product, including to:

Authenticate users and maintain account access.

Process subscriptions, billing, and plan changes.

Enable brokerage-linking and connected account workflows.

Provide support, investigate issues, and communicate about the service.

Monitor abuse, secure the platform, and improve reliability.

Meet legal, regulatory, contractual, or platform requirements.

We rely on third-party infrastructure to run the service. These providers may process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations.

Key providers currently include Clerk for authentication, Stripe for subscription billing and payments, SnapTrade for brokerage connectivity, and Vercel or similar infrastructure providers for hosting and deployment.

If you connect a brokerage account, brokerage data may also be processed by the relevant brokerage, clearing, or connectivity providers involved in that workflow.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, keep billing and account records, resolve disputes, maintain security logs, and comply with legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect the information we control. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, so you should use the service with that limitation in mind.

You may request account updates, disconnect supported integrations, or close your account by contacting us. In some cases, we may need to retain limited records for security, financial reporting, or legal compliance reasons.

If you do not want information processed through a specific third-party workflow, do not use that workflow. For example, do not initiate brokerage linking if you do not want brokerage connection metadata processed through SnapTrade and the connected institution.
